Help and guides

Each guide says which menu item to open and what to press. Pages of the dashboard open after you log in.

Link your Google listing

We take your rating, reviews and competitors from it, and prepare your review link. We don't need access to your Google account.

  1. Open “My business” in the menu.

    Open: My business →
  2. In “Find your business”, type the name and town as they appear on Google and pick the right result.

    Open: My business →
  3. Check the name and address: if they are wrong, search again.

  4. Your link and QR code are in “Requests”, in the “Your review link” section.

    Open: Requests →

Send your first request

The customer gets a message with the link to leave a review on Google.

  1. Open “Requests” and go to “Ask for a review”.

    Open: New request →
  2. Type the customer's name and “Email or phone (+41…)”.

  3. For a phone number, choose SMS or WhatsApp in “If it's a phone number”.

  4. With Plus and Pro you also choose “When to send it”. With Basic the request goes out at once.

  5. Press “Send request”: the request appears in the list below, with its status.

    Open: Latest requests →

Import customers from Excel or CSV

Send the request to many customers at once: up to 300 rows per file.

  1. In “Requests”, in the “Ask for a review” section, press “Download the template” or use the file from your software.

Open: Send to several customers →
  2. Each row has the name and an email or a phone number. With a Service column (with its heading), each customer gets the request after the wait set for their service.

  3. Press “Choose the Excel or CSV file”: the preview shows the rows that are ready and those to fix. Nothing goes out until you confirm.

  4. Confirm the sending. Rows to send by WhatsApp go to “To send on WhatsApp”: you open them one by one on your phone.

    Open: Send with WhatsApp →
  5. Files you sent stay in “Imports”.

    Open: Import from Excel →

Sending times and reminders

When the request goes out after the service and when to remind those who haven't left a review yet.

  1. In “Card and automations”, “3. Sending times and reminders” section, choose after how many days the reminders go out: at first 3 and 7 days, at most 4, between 1 and 60 days.

    Open: Timing and reminders →
  2. In “Time of the reminders”, choose the hour: between 8:00 and 20:00.

    Open: Timing and reminders →
  3. In “Settings”, “Sending time”, choose the “Allowed hours”: start between 6:00 and 12:00, end between 16:00 and 22:00. Outside it the request waits until the next morning.

    Open: Sending time →
  4. With Plus and Pro you also choose how long after the service the request goes out, and a different wait for each service in “Wait per service”.

    Open: Timing and reminders →
  5. Reminders stop by themselves if the customer opens the link, asks not to get messages or has already left a review.

Channels: email, SMS and WhatsApp

You choose how each customer gets the request.

  1. Email: type an email address.

    Open: New request →
  2. SMS: type a mobile number (+41…). SMS per 30 days: Basic 50, Plus 150, Pro 300; during the trial 20. Once the quota is used up, SMS stop going out; emails don't.

  3. A landline can't receive SMS: use email for that customer.

  4. WhatsApp: press “Write on WhatsApp”. WhatsApp opens on your phone with the message ready and you send it yourself, which is why it can't be scheduled.

  5. Anyone who asks not to get messages any more gets none, on any channel.

  6. In “Subscription” you see how many SMS you used in the last 30 days.

    Open: Subscription →

Calendar, Zapier and Make

With Plus and Pro the request goes out by itself after every appointment.

  1. Calendar: in “Card and automations”, “Calendar” section, paste the iCal link of your calendar (Google, Outlook, iPhone or your booking software).

    Open: Calendars →
  2. We look for an email or mobile number among the guests and in the description. Appointments without a contact go to “Appointments without a contact”, in the requests.

  3. Zapier or Make: in “4. Automatically from your booking system”, choose the tool and follow the steps.

    Open: Automations →
  4. “Try now” tells you when the request would go out, without sending anything.

    Open: Automations →
  5. If your software reports a cancelled appointment, the scheduled request doesn't go out; if it had already gone, it stays as it is.

  6. The same wait, the same rules per service and the same time window apply as for the other requests.

Card, QR code and NFC stand

Ask for the review in person, at the till.

  1. In “Card and automations”, “1. Your card” section, prepare the card: photo, text and your QR code.

    Open: Card and automations →
  2. In the “QR code at the counter” section you print the QR code for the till.

    Open: Poster with QR →
  3. The NFC stand is a gift for the first 30 customers on a yearly Plus or Pro plan, together with the assisted setup: we set it up with you.

  4. The stand and the QR code take the customer to the same review link.

Change plan or payment

Basic CHF 39, Plus CHF 59 and Pro CHF 89 a month. The trial lasts 14 days.

  1. Open “Subscription”: you see your current plan and the usage of the last 30 days.

    Open: Subscription →
  2. Press “Switch to …” on the plan you want. The yearly plan costs 10 months instead of 12.

    Open: Subscription →
  3. If you already have a subscription, the change happens on the same subscription: the difference for the remaining days goes on the next invoice.

  4. “Manage payment” opens Stripe's secure page: card, invoices, billing details and cancellation.

    Open: Subscription →
  5. When you cancel, the subscription ends at the end of the period already paid, with no refund.

Google reviews and replies

The latest reviews of your listing, with the negative ones still to answer at the top.

  1. Open “Reviews and replies”, “On Google” tab.

    Open: Reviews and replies →
  2. Tap a review, choose the tone and press “Draft reply”.

  3. Press “Copy and reply on Google”: that very review opens on Google, you paste and publish.

  4. Then press “Mark as replied”: we don't read the replies on Google, so you mark it yourself.

  5. Google gives us at most 5 reviews at a time: we read them every night, and you can refresh at most once an hour.

  6. Reply drafts: Basic has 10 per 30 days, Plus and Pro without limit.

Frequently asked questions

Is it allowed to ask for Google reviews?

Yes, if you ask everyone and offer nothing in return. Steloria does exactly that: no filters, no rewards.

What if a customer isn't happy?

They can write to you privately from their page, but the Google link always stays visible: it's their choice. You find their message in your dashboard and can put things right.

How many more reviews will I get?

We don't promise a number: it depends on how many customers you serve and how many you ask. In your dashboard and the weekly summary you see the requests sent, how many were opened and the new reviews on Google.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It works in the browser, on your computer and your phone. You log in with a link by email, no password.

Do you need access to my Google profile?

No. Your business name and town are enough: we use Google's public data.

Does it work for my trade?

Yes, if your customers look for you on Google. With appointments (hairdressers, garages, practices, craftspeople) the request goes out after the visit. Restaurants, bars and shops without appointments use the QR code on the table, at the till or on the receipt.

I run a medical or therapy practice: what about professional secrecy?

The message holds the patient's name, the practice's name and the links to review and to stop messages: never the reason for the visit or the service. Ask the patient if they agree before sending it, and do not write diagnoses in the names of your services. You write and publish the replies to reviews yourself: do not confirm that the reviewer is your patient.

Where is my customers' data?

In Europe. We do not sell the data or use it for advertising. For your customers' data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf: the contract (art. 9 FADP) is in the terms, the providers in the privacy policy.

Who is behind Steloria?

One person in Ticino, who builds Steloria and answers the messages sent with «Write to us» directly. The company details are in the legal notice.

Can I cancel whenever I like?

Yes, with no commitment: the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid, which is not refunded. With the yearly plan you pay for 10 months instead of 12.

Which languages does it work in?

English, German, French and Italian: the dashboard, your customers' page and the draft replies.

Can't find the answer?

The “Help” button at the bottom right answers from these guides. From the “Write to us” tab your message goes to the founder, who replies by email.
